I am inspired by the natural world, interpreting and filtering influences and forms from the land, water, sky and elemental forces to create a personal iconography and language. 

I often incorporate natural materials and found objects in my work and I strive for an honesty to materials in all media. Things are what they are yet there are also layers of meaning and intent that contribute to the talismanic quality of my work.
